Red Sauce Pasta Recipe | Breakfast Care

Red sauce pasta is a delicious and easy recipe of pasta and mixed veggies in a homemade tangy and bright tomato sauce. Make this pasta with or without veggies and they taste good every time. 

  • 100 gram pasta
  • 5-6 tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • Oil
  • 3 cups water
  • Salt, as per taste


For Sauce:
1. In a pan, cook the tomatoes.
2. Add the clove of garlic, onion and bay leaf to it.
3. Add water and then season with salt and sugar.
4. Cover and let the tomatoes boil.
5. Cool and then grind to a puree.
6. Now in a separate pan, heat oil and add chopped onions and chopped garlic.
7. Add the tomato puree.
8. Now, cook until its reduces to half.

For Pasta:
1. Boil water with salt.
2. Add the pasta to it and let it boil.
3. Drain once done.
4. Transfer in a serving dish.
5. Serve with tomato sauce.
6. Enjoy!
