Mandue Ki Roti is a chapati cooked in hilly region of Uttarakhand and consumed during cold winter days. It's a healthy and highly nutritious pahadi meal having many health benefits like digestion, diabetes, etc. This bread is popular in Garhwal and Kumaon regions of Uttarakhand.
Ingredients
• 500g finger millet seeds flour/ Mandua flour
• 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a large size bowl, mix mandua flour with adequate water.
- Knead to form smooth dough.
- Flatten dough balls of mandua flour on wet hand.
- Cook on Iron tawa.
- Grease with ghee.
- Serve hot with any curry or vegetable.
- Enjoy!
Note
The chapattis will not fluff up like regular wheat Rotis.
