Popcorn Recipe / How To Make Perfect Popcorn | Breakfast Care

Popcorn is one of the perfect healthy snack you can have.

  • 1/3 cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter , to taste 
  • Salt, as per taste


1. In a pan, heat the oil over medium high heat.

2. Once hot, put 3 or 4 popcorn kernels into the oil.

3. Wait for the popcorn kernels to pop.

4. When the kernels pop, add the remaining kernels in an even layer.

5. Cover the pot. Let the pot rest for 60 seconds to make sure the oil doesn’t get too hot before the kernels are ready to pop.

6. Turn the heat back up to medium, put the pot back onto the burner and continue cooking the popcorn.

7. Continue cooking until the popping sound slows to about one pop per every few seconds.

8. Remove the lid and dump the popcorn into your serving bowl.

9.Sprinkle some salt and butter, toss the popcorn and serve immediately.
