Gobhi/ Gobhi Ki Sabji/ Cauliflower Vegetable Recipe | Breakfast Care

Gobhi Ki Sabji is one of the common and delicious vegetable consumed in Indian houses. It is simple and easy to cook. It is served with any Indian bread and tastes amazing.

  • 5 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 geeen chilli, chopped roughly
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • A handful of coriander leaves, chopped (to garnish)
  • Salt, as per taste

  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and saute for a few seconds.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
  • Add onion, green chilli and saute until brown.
  • Add all the dry spices and salt, and stir for a few seconds.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook untill tomatoes turn mushy.
  • Add cauliflower florets to the pot, mix and cover the pan.
  • Cook until cauliflower is almost cooked or for 10-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapati, puri, paratha or rice.
  • Enjoy!
