Greek Yoghurt Chocolate Cupcake is a perfect morning treat and a wonderful dessert too. These are healthy and delicious enough to satisfy your taste buds.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1.5 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl, place all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well together.
- Mix in the butter on low speed, until the mixture resembles moist crumbs.
- Stir in the eggs.
- Add the Greek yogurt and vanilla. Combine well.
- Beat to aerate the batter and build the cake’s structure for 2 minutes.
- Pour the batter in lined cupcake wells just over half full.
- Bake until a cake tester inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean or for 15 minutes.
- Cool completely before frosting and serve.
