Greek Yoghurt Chocolate Cupcake Recipe | Breakfast Care

Greek Yoghurt Chocolate Cupcake is a perfect morning treat and a wonderful dessert too. These are healthy and delicious enough to satisfy your taste buds.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, place all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well together.
  3. Mix in the butter on low speed, until the mixture resembles moist crumbs.
  4. Stir in the eggs.
  5. Add the Greek yogurt and vanilla. Combine well.
  6. Beat to aerate the batter and build the cake’s structure for 2 minutes.
  7. Pour the batter in lined cupcake wells just over half full.
  8. Bake until a cake tester inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean or for 15 minutes.
  9. Cool completely before frosting and serve.
