Beetroot Rice Recipe | Breakfast Care

Beetroot Rice is a delicious and easy to make recipe. It's the best way to include the beetroot in your meal.


Ingredients
  • 1 cup basmati rice, soaked
  • cup beetrootchopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 onionsliced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Oil
  • Water
  • A handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
  • Heat  in a wok.
  • Saute cumin, onion and ginger garlic paste well.
  • Add chopped and grated beetroot. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add turmeric powder and salt. Saute.
  • Add 1 cup basmati rice and 2 cup water. 
  • Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or till the rice get cooked completely.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!
