Beetroot Lassi Recipe | Breakfast Care

Beetroot Lassi is a simple and healthy recipe. It takes no time to make. It is so refreshing and best way to beat the summer.


Ingredients
  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1/4 teaspoon hing
  • 3 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Water, as required
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt, as per taste
Instructions
  • Wash, peel and slice the beet.
  • Bake the beet at 200C by wrapping in an aluminium foil.
  • Bakefor 10 minutes or till soft.
  • Allow the foil to cool completely.
  • Remove the beet from foil.
  • Cut beet into slices.
  • In a blender, add the beet slices and water.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Add the curd, cumin powder, salt and hing in blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into the glasses along with ice cubes.
  • Serve chilled.
  • Enjoy!

Note
You can add sugar if you want the lassi sweet.
