Beetroot Lassi is a simple and healthy recipe. It takes no time to make. It is so refreshing and best way to beat the summer.
Ingredients
- 1 beetroot
- 1 cup curd
- 1/4 teaspoon hing
- 3 teaspoon cumin powder
- Water, as required
- Ice cubes
- Salt, as per taste
Instructions
- Wash, peel and slice the beet.
- Bake the beet at 200C by wrapping in an aluminium foil.
- Bakefor 10 minutes or till soft.
- Allow the foil to cool completely.
- Remove the beet from foil.
- Cut beet into slices.
- In a blender, add the beet slices and water.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add the curd, cumin powder, salt and hing in blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into the glasses along with ice cubes.
- Serve chilled.
- Enjoy!
Note
You can add sugar if you want the lassi sweet.
