Strawberry Cardamom Cupcakes gives the delicious flavour and sweetness of fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- 2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 teaspoob baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup yoghurt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 370 degrees and grease the cupcakes tin.
- In a bowl, add flour and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, add yogurt, sugar, cardamom, vanilla, and milk. Mix them well together.
- Pour into the flour mixture, and mix until just combined.
- Toss the diced strawberries with about 2 teaspoons of flour. Gently fold strawberries into the batter.
- Spoon batter into the muffins cup, filling almost to the top.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean or for about 20 minutes.
- Remove the cupcakes to the cooling rack.
- Let them cool and serve.
