Sticky Date Porridge Recipe | Breakfast Care

Sticky Date Porridge is a healthy and filling breakfast recipe. With this, you can enjoy the goodness of oats with your favourite dessert flavours and toppings.

  • 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 5 dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Sliced bananas, blueberries, chocolate cubes (for topping)

  1. In a pan, add oats, hot water and chopped dates. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
  2. Place the pan on flame, add almond butter, cinnamon and salt and continue to stir.
  3. Cook until thick or for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer to the serving bowl.
  5. Top with sliced banana, chocolate cubes, and blueberries, and serve.
  6. Enjoy!

1. You can use fancy toppings of your choice.
2. Add more milk, if oats mixture is too thick.
