Pad Woon Sen Recipe | Breakfast Care

Pad Woon Sen is a classic Thai noodle dish. It's the best way to satisfy your taste buds.

  • 40g glass noodles, dry
  • 4 oz firm tofu
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1 cup mung beans
  • 1 roma tomato
  • 1/4 cup onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup carrot
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Oil
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Lime wedges
  • A handful of scallions, chopped
  • Salt, as per taste

  1. Soak glass noodles in water for 10 minutes until soft and pliable.
  2. Drain and cut the noodles a few times to shorten them.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Once hot, add garlic and onions and cook until garlic starts to turn golden.
  5. Add tofu and cook.
  6. Add cabbage, carrots, and half a tablespoon of the sauce mixture; toss quickly just to mix.
  7. Add noodles, and white pepper. 
  8. Cook, stirring constantly, until the noodles are done and have absorbed all the sauce.
  9. Add tomatoes and green onions. Toss well.
  10. Remove from heat.
  11. Transfer to the serving dish.
  12. Garnish with lime wedges and scallions and serve.
  13. Enjoy!

You can add chicken in the recipe.
