Lemon Pasta Recipe | Breakfast Care

Lemon Pasta is a delicious recipe with amazing flavour of lemons.

  • 8 oz. package long pasta or spaghetti
  • 3 lemons, juice and some zest
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, crushed
  • Salt and pepper, as per taste
  • Water

  • In a pot, cook the pasta according to package directions.

  • Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water. Return drained spaghetti to the pot.

  • Whisk the lemon juice, oil, heavy cream and parmesan cheese in a bowl to combine.
  • Add ¼ cup of the pasta cooking water and whisk to combine.
  • Add lemon sauce to spaghetti in pot, toss until pasta is evenly coated with sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Garnish with lemon zest and crushed black pepper, and serve.
  • Enjoy!
