Egg Bonda/ Egg Pakora/ Egg Bajji Recipe | Breakfast Care

Egg Bonda, known by various names such as Egg Fritters, Egg Pakora and Egg Bajji is the famous South Indian snack recipe and is the best iftar recipe. 

  • 7 eggs, boiled
  • 2 cup gram flour
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 2 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil, for frying
  • Salt, as per taste

1. Boil the eggs in a pot.
2. Cut the boiled eggs into halves and sprinkle a little red chili powder, black pepper powder and salt over the boiled eggs.
3. Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame.
4. In a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, green chilies, black pepper powder and a little water. Mix them well to prepare the batter.
5. Dip the boiled egg pieces one by one into the batter and carefully place inside the hot oil.
6. Deep fry the eggs until golden brown.
7. Transfer the fried bonda on a kitchen paper towel to.
8. Serve hot with any sauce or chutney of your choice.

Those who have a problem with the digestion of egg yolk can opt to follow the same recipe only with boiled egg white.
