Creamy Millet Porridge is the best option for breakfast. It is naturally sweetened and is filled with nutrients & fiber.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups millet, divided
- 2.5 cups non-dairy milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup apple, sliced
- 1/2 cup raspberry
- 4 cups water
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a grinder, place 1 cup of the millet and grind until broken down.
- Grease a pot.
- Add processed millet and remaining 1/4 cup of intact millet into a slow cooker.
- Add the remaining ingredients, stir well, cover with the lid and cook on low flame.
- Remove lid, give it a good stir adding milk.
- Garnish with apple and raspberries.
- Serve immediately.

1. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
2. You can add your desired toppings.
