Cheddar Bacon Chive Biscuits Recipe | Breakfast Care

Cheddar Bacon Chive Biscuits is the easy recipe for breakfast, brunch, or dinner side dish. This is the perfect trio to make biscuits.

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 slices bacon, diced
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup chives, chopped
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  4. Add bacon and cook until brown and crispy.
  5. In a large bowl, combine bacon, flour, cheese, chives, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
  6. Grate butter using the large holes of a box grater. Stir into the flour mixture.
  7. Add milk and stir using a rubber spatula until a soft dough forms.
  8. Knead the dough 3-4 times until it comes together.
  9. Roll the dough into a 1 1/4-inch thick rectangle, using a rolling pin.
  10. Make about 10 biscuits.
  11. Place biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet. Freeze.
  12. Remove biscuits from freezer.
  13. Bake until golden brown or for 15 minutes and serve.
