Aam Ras/ Mango Puree Recipe | Breakfast Care

Aam Ras is a popular dessert enjoyed during the months of Summer and it is one of the very easy to prepare dessert. It is nothing but the mango puree which is flavored with cardamom or saffron. It is a must try recipe and is served with puris.

  • 1/2  kilograms mangoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • pinch of saffron strands
  • Milk, as required
  • Sugar (optional)
  • Water, as required

  • Wash and peel the mangoes. Chop them.
  • In a blender, add the chopped mango pieces and blend until smooth.
  • Add cardamom powder and crushed saffron strands. Stir very well.
  • Pour in small bowls and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with puris.
  • Enjoy!

1. Add milk if aam ras is thick.
2. You can add dry fruits of your choice to aam ras.
