Aam Panna/ Raw Mango Drink Recipe | Breakfast Care

Aam Panna is a popular summer drink. It's a perfect drink to beat the summer.


  • 1/2 kg raw mango
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon cumin powder, roasted
  • Black salt, as per taste
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • Water
  • Ice cubes

  1. Peel the skin of the mangoes and cut into cubes.

  2. Add the chopped mangoes in a pressure cooker.

  3. Add enough water to cover them and cook till soft.

  4. Remove the pressure cooker from heat and let the mangoes cool down.

  5. Transfer the mangoes in a blender along with mint leaves and blend to make smooth puree.

  6. Add sugar, roasted cumin powder and black salt to the mango pulp and mix well.

  7. Add 5-6 cups of water and mix well.

  8. Place the panna in freezer for a few hours.

  9. Pour the panna into serving glasses and add ice cubes.

  10. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
