Tandoori Aloo Paratha is a North Indian cuisine. It is the popular breakfast among Indians.
Ingredients
- 2 cup maida
- 4 potatoes, boiled
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- A handful of coriander leaves, chopped
- Ghee/ Butter
- 1 cup water
- Salt, as per taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add maida salt & 2 teaspoon ghee in a mixing bowl. Knead soft dough using water.
- Peel off potatoes & mash it in a mixing bowl.
- Add onion, green chillies, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, & salt and mix well.
- Take a small dough dough and make ball.
- Flatten by hands & fill potato stuffing. Make pleats and close it.
- Dust flour on working surface. Roll it with roller pin in round shape parantha.
- Brush with water over parantha and flip it on hot tawa. Gently press the parantha Cook it on medium flame.l
- Flip the tawa upside down and cook parantha directly on flame till it turn golden brown and puffs up.
- Gently scrape the parantha with knife from bottom and remove from tawa. Brush some butter/ghee.
- Serve hot with butter, curd & pickle of your choice.
