Tandoori Aloo Paratha

Tandoori Aloo Paratha is a North Indian cuisine. It is the popular breakfast among Indians.


  1. 2 cup maida
  2. 4 potatoes, boiled
  3. 1 onion, chopped
  4. 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  5. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  6. A handful of coriander leaves, chopped
  7. Ghee/ Butter
  8. 1 cup water
  9.  Salt, as per taste


  1. In a large bowl, add maida salt & 2 teaspoon ghee in a mixing bowl. Knead soft dough using water.
  2. Peel off potatoes & mash it in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add onion, green chillies, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, & salt and mix well.
  4. Take a small dough dough and make ball. 
  5. Flatten by hands & fill potato stuffing. Make pleats and close it. 
  6. Dust flour on working surface. Roll it with roller pin in round shape parantha.
  7. Brush with water over parantha and flip it on hot tawa. Gently press the parantha Cook it on medium flame.l
  8. Flip the tawa upside down and cook parantha directly on flame till it turn golden brown and puffs up.
  9. Gently scrape the parantha with knife from bottom and remove from tawa. Brush some butter/ghee.
  10. Serve hot with butter, curd & pickle of your choice.
  11. Enjoy!
