Spinach Omelette Is a healthy and nutritious breakfast recipe. It has the goodness of spinach which is rich in iron and dietary fibre.
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 2 cup baby spinach
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoon butter
- Black pepper, as per taste
- Salt, as per taste
Instructions
- Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat until frothy and fluffy with a hand whisk.
- Heat a pan with a tsp of butter and add cumin seeds.
- Add onions along with green chilli. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
- Add chopped spinach leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes until it shrinks. Switch off the flame once done.
- Transfer the spinach onion mixture to the beaten egg. Add required salt. Mix well.
- Heat a pan with butter and pour the egg spinach mixture to it. Sprinkle pepper powder on the top.
- Cook it in low, medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the omelette once cooked on one side.Cook it further for two minutes.
- Transfer onto the plate and serve.
