Spinach Omelette Recipe | Breakfast Care

Spinach Omelette Is a healthy and nutritious breakfast recipe. It has the goodness of spinach which is rich in iron and dietary fibre.

  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cup baby spinach
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • Black pepper, as per taste
  • Salt, as per taste

  • Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat until frothy and fluffy with a hand whisk.
  • Heat a pan with a tsp of butter and add cumin seeds.
  • Add onions along with green chilli. Saute until onions turn golden brown. 
  • Add chopped spinach leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes until it shrinks. Switch off the flame once done.
  • Transfer the spinach onion mixture to the beaten egg. Add required salt. Mix well.
  • Heat a pan with butter and pour the egg spinach mixture to it. Sprinkle pepper powder on the top.
  • Cook it in low, medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
  • Flip the omelette once cooked on one side.Cook it further for two minutes.
  • Transfer onto the plate and serve.
