Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe | Breakfast Care | Healthy Breakfast

Shrimp Fried Rice is a healthier recipe cooked using brown rice. It is a delicious whole grain recipe that’s high in fiber.

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 egg, scrambled
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • A handful of beet greens
  • 2 carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Salt & Pepper, as per taste

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger powder and white pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium high heat.
  3. Add shrimp, and cook, stirring occasionally, until pink.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, as per taste.
  5. Add garlic and onion to the skillet, and cook, stirring often, until onions have become translucent.
  6. Stir in carrots, stirring constantly until tender.
  7. Stir in rice, scrambled egg, green onions and soy sauce mixture. Stirring constantly until cooked.
  8. Serve immediately.
  9. Enjoy!

You can add veggies of your choice.
