Semolina Porridge/ Cream Of Wheat/ Mannaya Kasha Recipe | Breakfast Care

Semolina Porridge is also known as  Cream of Wheat recipe and  Mannaya Kasha.
 It is a popular breakfast in Eastern Europe and Russia. It’s Semolina cooked in milk to make a hot breakfast porridge, usually served with jam or fruit. 

  • 1  cup semolina
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 2 teaspoon honey or any other sweetener to taste
  • Strawberries, cut into halves
  • Raspberries

  • Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, add the Milk and the cinnamon stick and stir in the semolina.
  • Simmer gently and stir frequently to prevent the porridge from developing lumps. 
  • Cook until the semolina becomes tender with a porridge consistency.
  • Add the butter, and continue to simmer until the porridge reaches your desired consistency.
  • Tot with strawberries and raspberries.
  • Drizzle some honey or any other sweetener of your choice and serve.
