Ingredients
- 1 bunch palak leaves / spinach
- 2 cup wheat flour
- 3 cups water
- 1 inch ginger, chopped
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds
- 2 teaspoon oil
- oil/ ghee
- Salt, as per taste
Instructions
- Prepare palak puree.
- Make a dough of wheat flour.
- Take a small dough, put 1 teaspoon palak puree and close the dough in round.
- Roll the dough and flatten it.
- Dust with some wheat flour if get sticky.
- Roll it in a thin circle like chapathi or paratha.
- Place the rolled paratha on hot tawa and cook for a minute or until gets brown on the edges.
- Flip and cook on other side.
- Brush paratha with oil / ghee and press slightly.
- Serveerve palak paratha with plain yogurt or any dip of your choice.
- Enjoy!
Notes
1. You can prepare palak paratha with the stuffing of paneer for kids.
2. Knead very soft dough to make softer parathas.
