- 125 grams wheat flour
- 1 cup cauliflower, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon oil/ghee/butter
- A handful of coriander leaves, chopped
- Water, as required
- Salt, as per taste
3. Heat oil in a pan over moderate flame.
4. Once hot, add the cumin seeds and fry them for few seconds. Add onions and saute for 2 minutes. Add salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder, haram masala, cumin powder and cauliflowers.
5. Stir well and cook the ingredients for a minute or two. Mash well and then remove.
6. Combine the dough and cauliflower mixture together. Knead well until combined.
7. Take portions of the dough and make small balls out of them. Roll them into small/medium parathas.
8. Heat a tawa over medium flame.
9. Place the parathas on top of the tawa and cook with oil/ghee on both the sides.
10. Remove and transfer to a serving plate.
11. Serve hot with butter, yoghurt or pickle of your choice.
12. Enjoy!
Note
To make extra smooth parathas, knead the dough using milk instead of water.
