Fried Egg Rolls Recipe | Breakfast Care | Healthy Breakfast

Fried Egg rolls are a variety of deep-fried appetizers served in American Chinese restaurants and can be cooked at home . Serve warm with egg roll sauce or soy sauce if desired.

  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cups ground pork
  • 4 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Oil for frying
  • Sail & pepper, as per taste

  • Heat the oil in a large pan over medium high heat.
  • Add the ground pork and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook, breaking up the pork with a spatula, until meat is browned and cooked through.
  • Add the garlic and ginger then cook for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the coleslaw mix and green onions. Cook until cabbage is wilted.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil, then remove from heat.
  • Spoon approximately 2-3 tablespoons of filling onto each egg roll wrapper and fold according to package directions.
  • Use the beaten egg to seal the edges of the wrappers.
  • Pour 2-3 inches of oil into a deep pot. Heat the oil to 350 degrees.
  • Fry egg rolls, turning occasionally, until browned all over.
  • Remove from pot and keep into tissue paper to absorb extra oil.
  • Serve with the dip of your choice.
