Chocolate chip cookies is a drop cookie from United States. Main ingredients in the original recipe of chocolate chip cookies are flour, butter, eggs, salt, vanilla extract, both brown and white sugar, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  • 4 cus flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar 
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder and mix well.
  • Cream together butter and sugars until combined.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Roll 2-3 TBS (depending on how large you like your cookies) of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets.
  • Bake in preheated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes. Take them out when edges are nicely browned.
  • Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
  • Serve after cooling.

Note

For best results, bake cookies on middle oven rack. For even baking, it’s best to bake one sheet at a time.
