Bread Pakora/ Aloo Stuffed Bread Pakora Recipe | Breakfast Care

Bread Pakora is a very famous Indian breakfast and  tea time snack recipe and is quite easy to make. You can either make it without any filling with just bread and the batter or fill it with a spicy potato or paneer filling and make Aloo Bread pakora. It is often served with green chutney and tomato sauce.

  • 4 slices bread, cut into 2 triangles
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 3 potato, boiled & mashed
  • green chillifinely chopped
  • inch gingerfinely chopped
  • ½ tsp aamchur / dry mango powder
  • 2 tablespoon corianderfinely chopped
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2 tablespoon rice flour
  • tsp red chilli powder powder
  • 1 teaspoon tsp salt, as per taste
  • Pinch of soda
  • ½ cup water or as required

  • In a large mixing bowl take 3 boiled potato.
  • Add 1 green chilli, 1-inch ginger, 2 tbsp coriander,¼ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp aamchur and mix well and stuffing is ready.
  • Spread a tablespoon of prepared aloo stuffing over half slice of bread.
  • Cover with another half slice and dip into besan batter covering both sides.
  • Deep fry immediately into hot oil.
  • Splash oil over bread pakora and fry on medium flame flipping occasionally.
  • Fry till the pakora turns golden and crisp.
  • Serve bread pakora with green chutney, tomato sauce or any sauce of your choice.
  • Enjoy!
After deep frying the bread pakoras, make sure to take them out on a tissue paper. It will soak out extra oil.
